Rolex

Never thought that I'd fallen deeply in love

With this Rolex 6084 Oyster Perpetual, which I found online from a dealer in California 3 years ago.

What attracted me at first is the white dial that has aged to an even cream colour with long dauphine hands and blued second hand.

Yes it is small at 34mm but with the thick bubble back case back it wears on my wrist just perfectly.

Many fine details on this small watch like the blued second hand and the bent tip of the minute hand for easier and more accurate reading of the time.

Also this Super Oyster crown that is supposed to be waterproof without being a screw down.

And to add to my delight, I found a correct 1953 stretch bracelet for this one!

Here's a wrist shot of this beauty...

And a side by side shot together with my early 1803 Day-Date.

It tells and teach me something very important, to most watch collecting are often said a very expensive hobby, it could very well be, however there are many treasure to be found that truly is beautiful and rare, yet doesn't cost a kidney.

Cheers

Sam
