Firstly, thank you so much mr. SuitbertW for the effort and time you are spending to provide me with the latest information at Basel Fair. 

MY question is regarding the new patek WG 5296, simply i do not understand the logic behind this new dial.  Does it mean this plain white dial will permanetly replace the current two tone dial ??

I have yet heard anyone complain about the present two tone dial.  I thought it was a pretty novelty move to re-introduce this dial into its recent collection.  Does it mean, we now have a choice between white dial or two tone dial ??  Will this white dial boost the sales of a may be slagging sales for the current version ??

This 2007 version 5296 reminds me of a vintage 570 with an automatic movement + date.

Hi, both will live side by side - IMO a very good decision . The "classic" Calatrava dial with the typical, applied stick markers/45° tip, will be availlable for both metalls cases - i.e. rose and white gold. There's only one on display in Basel (the whit...
