Although my taste leans towards simply, and understated dials...
I much prefer the two- tone sector dial, infinitely more interesting, and stunning in real life. Also two tone sector dials command a huge premium on the vintage market, so it gives you an indication what some serious vintage Patek collectors prefer.
What would make the 5296 sector dial perfect....eliminate date aperture (although it's very functional).
Having said that, if it's not your cup of tea, you now have a choice.
