New Year’s Resolutions
Dear All,
The New Year provides an opportunity to reflect on where we have come from and to look to the future with renewed enthusiasm. Many of us have been involved with PuristS for years and it has become an important part of our daily lives. Through PuristS we have friends in all corners of the world with similar interests and outlooks. But we want to make the site even better and the community stronger.
We know that for every regular poster there are literally thousands who read casually and use PuristSPro for information. But we are only as strong as our contributors. So I would encourage all of you to post more often about topics you are passionate about.
How about writing a review of a watch that you own but have never explored in-depth on PuristS (even I have a few of those). Or revisit your favourite watches and tell us about your long-term experiences with them.
Grow the community by inviting your friends and colleagues to join in. The more the merrier.
Share your other interests – fashion, food, travel, design, photography, cars, wine, furniture, art – whatever other passions you have that make life more liveable. Passion is infectious and the lifeblood of PuristS.
Take more videos and use YouTube to enhance the interaction.
Use PuristS social Media links such as Twitter and FaceBook (each post has quick links to Social Media).
Post images when you can as they always bring eyes to your posts.
Give support to those who take the time to post by responding with your experiences and opinions, or just leave an encouraging note.
Visit forums you rarely go to in order to broaden your experience. Discover the heritage of brands that you didn’t know much about.
Delve into more than a decade of PuristS archival posts using the Forum Search function. Help optimize Forum Search by using full titles of watch brands and models and putting key points (key words) into your first paragraph.
And enjoy PuristS for everything it can provide.

I'm very lazy and I shoot my pics on a balcony that is located few steps from my home office. I need to try different places. Cheers, Nilo
I do much the same
as 90% of my watch photos are on the kitchen counter. Rarely, I get some food out and put the watch into the food. But sometimes I go into the back garden and put the watch into the wilderness. It does stress the photographer when moving all things around...
