In my last post, I expressed my interest in a new version of the iconic Railmaster...
Here is yet another old Omega, which heretofore I was completely unfamiliar, but think it is superb... a sector dial time only Omega, dateless and manual wind, from 1939, which is in the Phillips Geneva Watch auction in a few weeks. Here is the link:

Yes, it is 44mm. I don't care. Were Omega to recreate this beautiful sector dial with say a creamy white dial in stainless steel, at any size say 40-44mm, I would buy it. I do not claim to be an expert in currently available new watches from any company, but do not know of any similar watch, dateless, in stainless steel, for under say US$10,000.
Would other enthusiasts/collectors be as excited as I would be with a new 2017 reincarnation of this? Does Omega listen? Again, does Omega listen? Thank you Phillips for showing us this little gem.

Completely unfamiliar with this reference . . .
. . . until just now. I'm aware of later jumbos, but this one's a head-scratcher. My hunch is it doesn't fetch the lower end of the estimate. Please give us an update when the auction's over. Cordially, Art
