On average, how many photos do you take of your watch, before you get one you are happy to post?
I think I am running about 4-5 discards for each keeper (even after doing this for 20 years) but of course it depends on the watch and its crystal.
1. Oops, should have taken off my glasses and inspected the dial & crystal, even though I rubbed it on my shirt before the photo

Darn glare!

Moving inside didn't help much ☹️

I gave it a rub with my wife's nightgown that was folded on the bed, but the spots remain at 42 and the blue dot at 5:30 on the lower subdial irks me. At least I remember to do a split to show off those hands 😉

Finally, clean, sharp and interesting hand positions! Whew...
Moral of the story, keep a "Cape Cod" cloth or a glasses cleaning cloth handy, or shoot from much farther away, get your eyes checked regularly, and don't forget to wipe the lens of your phone camera.
Before:
After. Photoshop helps too.
