Outstanding VC's up for auction this fall...
I received the Summer 2003 issue of VOX, Antiquorum's magazine, which previews some fine VC timepieces that will go up for bid this fall.
The sale of October 11 and 12 in Geneva will have a pocket watch with 10 complications (minute reapeater with carillon, perpetual calendar with moonphase, split second chrono with 30 minute recorder, and alarm), a beautiful Art Deco skeleton table clock (bridges and barrels magnificently engraved), a platinum vintage minute-repeater, and a chronograph just like Alex's fine new watch, the only difference being that the applied markers are in steel rather than gold.
I wish I could post pictures. I also hope there are some watches for the rest of us plebes.
