Overseas chronograph perpetual calendar limited edition

 

Hi,
I have been away from the VC brand for a long period but in the past have owned and do own the steel gold Phidias collection, VC Mercator watch, the coin watch , royal eagle chronograph and the Malte perpetual chrono in gold. But unfortunately stayed away due to a very weak brand representation in the city of my residence. However I was reached by the new VC boutique manager in Dubai to look into getting a VC Overseas chronograph perpetual calendar in titanium and steel being a limited edition of 80 pieces. No promises from them due to the fact that they are not aware of the allocation but still a chance.
Does anyone knows when iris being delivered, what movement does it have and being a VC LE in long term will it hold value unlike previous VCs owned?

Here is the press photo, and having seen it in real life I can say that it is better in person than in this photo: This photo by Alex Ghotbi better captures the reality of it: The movement is the same base Piguet 1185 chronograph movement as in the Overse...

but I keep wondering why the minute counter has no minute markers!? It makes the chrono sort of a throwaway aspect of the watch--as if VC is saying, ah, we know ya never measure time with it anyway--you just want a chrono in 'concept', silly collector--ju...

a watch should perform its functions properly. This is an example where the user-interface was sacrificed for design. I still want one ;-)

there are too many things going on the dial so they might have thought of making it clean inside, its all aesthetics they wanted to take care of. Best Raman.
