Parmigiani Tondagraph GT vs Rolex Daytona
Today I tried the Parmigiani Tondagraph GT, both the LE version with black dial and the panda version. I was wearing a Daytona so I thought a comparison might be useful.
Something felt a bit off about the Parmigiani. I know the quality is supposed to be top notch (especially the movement, if I am not mistaken the PF 043 is also used in a Richard Mille, with different decorations of course) but I can't pin point the issue. May be there is too much going on in the dial ? The bracelet didn't look impresssive at this price point.
May be the rubber band is nicer in this model. What do you think ?

While I cannot offer a comparison with another brand, I can easily agree with you on the black LE. The dial is too busy with unnecessary inscription and can appear a bit dull under certain lighting. The Panda is much nicer and shows-off the Guilloché much...

Happen to agree with you on all counts while I haven't tried them myself. However, I LOVE the integration of the (rubber) bracelet. Just love looking at it from all angles. Perfectly designed and executed, I think. Cheers Marc

and I was intrigued as it is from the new CEO. Here are some pics. The movement is amazing but the dial seems a bit plain..and the price being almost duble vs the bulgari finissimo S (with 100 mt water resistance) makes it a bit difficult...umh ...

just found out and that is not a plus in my view ! but the PF feels very good and is much more balanced. I think this line will be successful. I also saw that all Tonda 1950 disappeared from the website.
