Parmigiani Toric Memory Time
I've been searching for a Toric Memory Time, Parmigiani's first watch, for over a year and found this watch online at 5:00AM two weeks ago. I was half asleep but managed to enter my credit card information and it was mine. I guess the early bird does get the worm.
My initial impressions are as follows: (1) the case, as with all early Parmigiani, is sublime, especially Michel Parmigiani's intended optical illusion whereby the case appears substantial/chunky when peering down from the top and thin/delicate from the side; (2) the GMT function 12:00 is a discreet, creative way to indicate a second time zone; and (3) the smoky gray dial paired with the pinkest rose gold I've come across is a pairing I didn't know I needed.
Thank you for indulging me . . . enjoy the photos.
