Some pictures to share with PuristS during our summer holiday in Portugal.
Warning: lots of pics.
We flew over on TAP Portugal for the first time. I found the biz seat to be cramped but the crew members were very nice to my little girl and she got two kid fun kits.

Our first memorable meal was at Tascantiga in Sintra. We had the misfortune to experience the heat wave in southern Portugal but this cold melon soup with bacon was a delicious respite.

The Portuguese can do tapas as well as their more famous neighbors to the east. The chorizo was outstanding.

You only live once...chocolate mousse cake.

A re-visit to a place that we went to during our honeymoon 5 years ago.

Lots of marvelous details around Pena Palace.

The best part of the heat wave were the bright sunny days.

A more gritty sight of Lisbon.

A work by Calatrava

More pork please. These sandwiches were unbelievably good. Europeans really know how to eat casual food with class...sparkling wine comes standard with the meal.

Something historical

Who can guess what this is?

Pretty frontage in the heart of old Porto

My little girl enjoying the man-made slope at Casa Da Musica

A picturesque Ponte Dom Luis

On our way to a port wine tour & tasting

My little one really wants one of these toy carrousels. Maybe I should spoil her???

My watch is old but that phone is much older.

The most famous bookstore in Portugal

Perhaps this inspired one of J.K. Rowling's creatures

Beautiful historic tiles are not hard to find.
That's it for now. Not much watch-related. I did quickly window shop at a few major ADs in Lisbon & Porto but nothing memorable was seen.
Cheers!
