Racing with Mr Bond
Took my Caterham to Furka Pass for the first time this morning and it was an absolute blast! Furka is also known as James Bond Strasse because the Goldfinger famous mountain chase was filmed there.
The 7 is a rocket, I’m still in the engine break in period and can’t exceed 4000 rpm, I was with a friend in a 992, he struggled to keep path as soon as it started to turn

The 992 is still in the garage, she’s not going anywhere… but the 7 spoiled it, it feels like driving a wet sausage in comparison …

Mostly because the different sequences of the film don’t match with the actual road… and the best part of the pass is the one not in the movie, the movie part is very narrow and pavement is in poor condition, beautiful but no fun to drive it
