When the sun comes out, this watch comes out of its box for me.
Maybe it is the memory of picking it up from Italy in the summer, or maybe the Pesto Pasta i remember so well from Genova. Or maybe I just love seeing that gilt dial shine in the sun.
Whatever it is, the 5512 Gilt gets more wrist time in the summer.

The Rolex 5512 always looks good in the sun.
And when there is a little bit of ocean it make for a nice background for the Rolex 5512. ...

Yes there 3d effect is very cool with the lume.
It is hard to capture the gloss of the dial but the spirit is there. and the dial has zero drag marks. Thanks for the compliment. Bill
