Saltarello (a few questions)
Hello...VC & V&C Fans, I have a few questions with regard to VC Saltarello as it may join my family later...!
1) According to the book "Secrets of VC," was the Saltarello issued in 2000? I thought it was earlier...(probably a similar period to Sautante)?
2) Is the Saltarello movement (Cal. 1120/2...maybe) bidirectional? If not, which direction should it be wound?
3) Which base caliber is it from (JLC...???)?
4) Is there any outstanding problem concerning its functions (jumping hour & minute retrograde)?
5) Among, Saltarello, Sautante and Mercator, which one really and deeply expresses being Vacheron Constantin?
