Saw the new Blue/Black GMT today.....
I had popped into my dealer today for a chat (as you do) and asked what he thought of the new GMT as he saw it at Basel.....he said "wait there we have one in the back.....".....
Not the best pic off my phone but this is next to my Sub (which I still absolutely love
)However I was not at all blown away by the GMT....the blue didn't 'pop' like I thought it would and I would still rather have a red GMT hand like on my GMT (at home).
I also saw the new Yacht Master 2 in SS which was much better but I don't have a yacht..!!
Anybody else seen the new GMT..? What do you think..?

Extremely underwhelmed. As you pointed out. Also, I did not think the green GMT hand match the blue. Much prefer the GMT IIC

I have to say, I liked it...it would be one I would consider for sure. Having said that, it is on my wish-list, but quite a long way down it. I thought the blue/black worked well.

but I still have to say - give me Pepsi or give me nothing. Not a fan of the PCLs either. But such is the way Rolex is headed. Good thing we still have all those old Pepsi around! V/R Mike

I will have a modern GMT, with the cramique bezel, but the question is still which one... As for the YM Blue dial, I saw it, several times, and I can see myself adding it to the YM Pt dial very well! A true beauty! Best, my friend, and thanks for sharing ...
I think the best scheme would be....
the black ceramic bezel with a red GMT hand :) I'm not a fan of the green hand on the black bezel version or the blue hand with this new blue/black bezel and now I know hard a two colour bezel is to produce and the chemistry behind it I don't think we'll ...
Well, the green hand is a nice and discrete reminder of
Symbolic color of this brand... Since, not a problem for me. But to know which ceramic bezel I prefer, I would say the all black... I really have to try to find a place which has it... Best, Nicolas
