Hello everybody,
this ist Sascha from Germany again.
After presenting my first A.Lange & Söhne watch, the Lange 1 with the blue dial, a few days ago today i am presenting
you my second Lange watch: the Langematik "Großdatum".
I'm sure most of you will know the details of this watch.
But because it' s a kind of review i will give you some detailed informations about this beautiful watch.
The Langematik was in production from 1997 until 2007 with the "Großdatum" and from 1998 until 2005 without the
"Großdatum". The version with the "Großdatum" used the Lange caliber L921.4, the one without the "Großdatum" the
Lange caliber L921.2.
You can find the watches in Platinum with rhodinée dial, in Whitegold with black dial an in Yellowgold with
champagne-coloured dial and in addition the version with "Großdatum" also in Redgold with black dial and
argenté dial.
The special feature of this watch is the "Zero Reset" mechanism: if you pull the crown the small second hand will
immediately go to the 0-Position. If you push the crown back the small second hand will start running again.
That´s why you can find the writing "Sax-0-Mat" on the dial=Sax for Saxony, 0 for Zero-Reset an Mat for automatic
movement.
There was a special edition (500 pieces in Platinum) in 2000 for the 10th anniversary of Lange Uhren GmbH:
In 2001 Lange launched the Langematik Perpetual and it is still in production:
The Langematik is a pretty small watch (37mm diameter) but i like it exactly like it is!
And here are some shots of my Langematik "Großdatum"

And here my two Lange "sisters":

Regards!
