Officine Panerai

So what Pam do you guys think Nico will end up with?

As Sergio said, if he had a dollar...

But then we might be reaching a tipping point here where a long time itch can actually be scratched.

I think the 372 will be out in the running. It's easy to get and knowing how our friend cycles through his collection, "daily wearer" isn't exactly a criteria.

So it's between the 587 and the 662 eh? Now the 587 is a very logical choice knowing how our friend loves his black dials. Very safe. Even more flexible if I may add than the 662. And, well, it is a beautiful piece with MM written boldly on the dial.. And yes, those pencil hands.

The 662 definitely has its own particular charm always being compared to the 6154. We know how he loves that egiziano.  It's a nice watch to take on his summer jaunts to Trieste.. I can imagine Nico putting the 662 on them roof tiles with the sun hitting that "latte" dial at just the right angle. One can already imagine how this can be heavenly for our friend. It is a very special watch. One can also imagine a pairing with the MB 1858 eh? Between those two pieces, our friend is probably covered for both day and night over a period of a few days and won't need anything else.

I'm thinking he will go for the 662.

But then, if Sergio had a dollar for every.. smile

Best,

Echi

PS I'm still on the fence on a 587. I made a slight detour to see if I'm a 44 kinda guy and flirted with a Base Logo. As much as it looks better on my wrist, there is something about a Pam and the 47mm.. The way the design is able to breathe to its fullest.. So the base will probably go at some point.. Nothing like buying a piece to really know if it's for you or not.
