Some pictures of the Patek 5130G.
Finally some not too bad pictures of the Patek 5130G, taken last week in a shop in Paris.
The 5130 is with the 5131G the biggest Patek World Time to this day, with its 39, 5 mm case.
The decoration of the dial and its scissor hour hand make the difference, compared to the 5110 and the 5230, of course.
Some will like the bigger case, others will regret that Patek didn't work on the proportions of the whole dial, with a bigger city ring and a smaller center dial.
Still, the 5130 certainly shares the magic all the Patek World Time have.
And the charm of its / their Cal 240:
It is always a pleasure to fall on such a watch.

btw i was the previous owner of this one ;-) i let it go bcs the lugs were too long for my wrist ...
Its very charming to use. 39.5 mm not huge at all and the thickness just right.
Love the scissors hour hand and the cal 240 hu movement really make it a gem of a world time. My biased opinion. Wonderful pics Nico. Cheers , mon ami. Geross.

.......i have to say that I do have a lot of time for the 5130. The proportions are, for me, not an issue at all. I would take the 5130 over the 5230 simply because I see the latter as a much more formal exposition. The 5130 is one that can be worn with a...
