OK..so those of you who thought I was running around with my head stuck up my own backside endorsing Cartiers, Bulgaris and LV..well..I am still very much "into" the watches that I love with great emotional E.
I have recently stopped posting these AHCI watches that I am gunning for because the prices have come to DOUBLE what I paid for an Opus V and three times the MBF1. Which means...very few people live in this town!!!!
Anyway, if one says another word about buying a watch just because one likes the "box"...well...

OK.I admit, it is a grave. It is sanctified. But...I like the rust. I like the overall "patina" it gives. I also wish they used just any metal rather than the Titanic..but they didnt.
First off...this is the MOTHER of all AHCI..and when Vianney first worked on it, those long enough here will recall I put my $$$ down for one!!!
For those lucky sons of... who bought the Opus 3 when I said so...wahoo..all systems are GO!!! hats of to the man who probably has my face on a dart board..Frederick Garinaud...see early 2009?!?!?
This one is cheaper..but you still get the BOX.
This one is for only telling day or nite...
You can guess how that works.
Cool enough, but the regulator collar is bloody cheap for such a watch..they have to get rid of that!!!
By this week..you guys and gals are gonna see the real pieces, taken with my phone for that touch of quality!!!
