It's brilliant.
Firstly, the Cabestan - Vianney's greatest creation to date.
Then, Romaine Jérome - the Sex Pistols of horology.
Finally, the product itself: a crusty old cash register of a watch...nevertheless, a marvel of creative engineering; a completely new way to display time; and all encased profanely in sacred metal from one of our last century's most iconic moments.
The fact that everyone is so outraged and sickened just makes me want one even more.
Romaine Jérome are the Cubists, the Second Viennese School, of watchmaking. Right now they are flying high. I love it.
