The Beauty and the Beast!
There are some common features in these two watches:
Both have an Up and Down function and both are hand-wounded.
Both have goldchatons with blued screws, glashuette 3/4 plate, hand decorated swanneck.
The material of the Lange's 3/4 plate is from new-Silver ( Neusilber ), which is a mixture from Silver, Zinc and Bronze. It becomes a nice Platina with the time.
The Panoreserve has a duplex Swanneck-regulator, it makes to set the puncuality more precise.
Three more common feature:
Both watches are from Glashuette, both are quite long discontinued and both are mine!!!

german silver is fascinating; with its patina. That's a detail I like a lot in those watches. Best, Nicolas
If only there were a way to keep the patina after servicing!
That's the sad part of servicing a Lange -- the disappearance of the movement patina!
Is there a possibility to ask them to not " remove " the patina?
Or does it necessarily disappear when they service the movement and clean it? Best, Nicolas
I asked Alkis that question last year...
... and he said that there is no way to avoid removing the patina from the movement when cleaning the movement to remove the old oils, etc. Otherwise, I would have selected that option, for sure! :)
