The quintessence of Rolex sporty elegance
As a long time fan of white precious metal Rolex, I couldn't fall in love with their platinum Day-Date 228206. It also retains my favourite bezel type, this being the smooth one, which I find much more discreet and elegant. The charme of a platinum Day-Date is unmatched and imho it thicks certain boxes that even the most coveted complicated watches don't.
Despite it feels extremely heavy at the beginning, I got used quite soon and now it doesn't bother me at all.
The platinum crafted President bracelet deserves a special mention, its subtle elegance imho makes it the best bracelet Rolex can offer.
