Travel watch recomendation to compliment eccletic collection

 

Lately I have been consolidating my watch collection and have mostly settled to keep only the ones that still bring joy. The funny thing is that I have all sold off all my watches from well-known brands. I feel like I've gone through enough trends to take more risk in the independent or lesser known brands. The question is what I should settle on for my travel/tool(lite) watch. I'm looking for something that still has 10bar water resistance, good shock-proofing, fits on a 6 3/4 in wrist. Here is my current collection:

I'm looking to replace my travel/tool(lite), which currently is the original Montblanc Riessec steel, with something else. Mainly, it's because it's only 3bar water resistance and I'd like to swim with it comfortably. I'm fortunate enough to have sold off my other watches to accrue quite a healthy budget so pricing isn't too much of a concern. Here are the ones I'm considering:

De Bethune DB28G


Are there any other recommendations that fall into this line? Would love to hear everyone's thought! Many thanks.

First of all, I have to congratulate you on your current collection, which is awesome. There are two which caught my interest: The Duometre QL Enamel, a pure beauty, and the 6542.

I would love to see pictures of your 6542! Then, I also have to congratulate you on your effort on reducing your collection. That is something I am painfully working on. As for your targets, I would add the Duometre à Chronographe, especially the WG Black...

What about new Vacheron Overseas dual time? 3 straps, 12atm... You do already have Octo but perhaps the new satin brushed with 100WR would be up your alley. New Moser streamliner chronograph in blue would also fit the bill. Perhaps new Santos in skeleton ...

and to consider the MB$F perpetual and the De Bethune tool watches is pretty next level too I have been happy for many years with a JLC Master Hometime on the steel bracelet for that purpose but I assume that is not what you are going for... How about the...  

Congrats on a nice and well curated collection! I would say that Rolex, JLC, etc. are perhaps not "top tier" (in the sense that Patek or Lange, AP, etc. are), but certainly very "well known" ;-)

It's probably not the suggestion you are looking for, but the Aquanaut 5164 (dual time) would seem a perfect choice for me here -- in terms of travel, water resistance, and also general versatility. And you might even find yourself wearing it daily when y...

Really appreciate all the kind words and suggestions so far. I’d love to share some photos of my collection, but will have to do it piecemeal due some being in storage. But with the lockdown/pandemic, I’ve been wearing my duo of the Bulgari OF and Duometr... 

If you can get an LM Perpetual EVO, I'd say go for it!
