The newly released Patrimony Self Winding limited edition. Yellow gold case with a yellow gold colored dial with a concentric circular guilloche pattern that reminds me of a zen garden.
For my friends who are not in favor of date windows I was concerned about it as well but when I saw it the date window works. The background color matches the dial and the numbers match the red of the strap.
A very classic watch to be sure.

Totally agree. Maybe somewhere in the horological universe you will find a watch that has a date window that you will accept.

The Patrimony line has been around for quite a while now, and it's proven to have staying power. This dial is a great variation and I agree the whole dial works quite well.
While playing with straps can be fun and can give a different look to a watch, in this particular instance it is the whole package that is so attractive and effective.
