Understated, underrated and beautiful
That’s what I think this watch is. Everything is built perfectly, from the case to the indices and dial - it also sits very nicely on the wrist. It would be been perfection if the deployant was a tad more comfortable, but not a deal breaker here.
Owned this for a few months now and worn a lot. Lightweight, but the finishing on the titanium case is immaculate.

I must admit that i was realy suprised about the watch . It looks great , the quality is great , the dail is beautiful and love it on the wrist . I had no issue with the deployant . Overall a beautiful watch 👌🏻

Would also add, it really is a very versatile watch, from suit to jeans to even the beach (if need be).

Regarding the deployant...
My experience with Grand Seiko deployants has been that they work much better with non-GS straps - i.e. is much more comfortable that way. Otherwise a spectacular watch
I need to give that a try
One of our fellow purists here has already swapped out his strap...I’m thinking of going down that path too and now you’re making me think I need to speed that up
In my experience...
Custom straps do not need to fit such a wide range of wrist sizes as standard GS ones, so the deployant sits more correctly, making it more comfortable 👍🏻
I have had the chance to see and try it this weekend thanks to a dear friend. And I have to admit that this watch is truly beautiful and definitely well made for an incredible price. The dial is gorgeous and I love the structure of the case too

i had preordered this 305, but then...
I found my ttg 1958 and my GS AD (AZ Fine Time), a GS dealer and the only one in AZ for years, was sadly removed by GS from its AD status in Seiko's rebranding/upscaling... So it became a no-go. How big does it wear at 40.5mm and over 13mm thick?
Very comfortable on the wrist
In terms of wearability, not significantly different from your very nice TTG 1958. The lightness of the titanium makes it almost unnoticeable
