Vacheron Constantin and Royal Jewelers hosted a dinner for clients/collectors at Lespalier in Boston last night and I was honored to attend. Also in attendance were two of VC's tourbillon watches (among so so many other watches), the Malte Tourbillon Regulator:

and the Patrimony Traditionnelle Caliber 2755, a minute repeating, perpetual calendar, tourbillon watch:

I appologize for the quality of these photograph, but I figure poor photos are better than no photos.
For the first time I have been really impressed by the sound of a minute repeating wristwatch. The tone was clear and the pace was even and stately. With this minute repeater VC has incorporated a regulating device that doesn't produce the whirring sound that is present in classically designed repeating watches.
Despite being such a complicated watch, the layout is clear and uncluttered. And also very beautiful. The finishing is spectacular. This is a very wearable watch at 44 mm in diameter.
Many thank to Hugues, Russell, and Daniel from VC as well as Steven and Paula from Royal Jewelers for hosting a wonderful evening of watches, conversation, and dining.
