Wearing my 1832 today, but I tried the new …
…. Ingenieur receltly when in Schaffhausen. And even though I am still criticizing the (unnecessary) crownguards, as they significantly „disturb“ the puristic Genta design, the watch is really nice. It is slimmer than what I had expected and the acqua dial is just a killer.
I might end up wearing one soon …. stay tuned.
PS: the 1832 by the way is just an incredible icon, ticking so many boxes: design ✔️, quality of case & bracelet ✔️, dial design ✔️, movement ✔️, rarity ✔️, comfort of wearing ✔️

Love the script on the old one...
...and the date window without a surround. But I wish it had a double marker at 12. IWC at 12 is redundant... But really beautiful. I agree about the protrusion of the case.
I bet they'll come out with one with a slimmer movement soon!
If you look at Chopard's Alpine Eagle, first they came out with the standard movement and this was around 10,000 Swiss francs. And just a couple years later they have the XPS version with a Geneva Seal, thinner movement, for 20,000 Swiss francs. I'd say w...
I have to say that although it’s not as refined as the RO Jumbo or Nautilus, it’s a really nice sports watch.
The bracelet is comfortable and it’s relatively thin - less than 11mm. The dial is quite beautiful, and inky black which contrasts nicely with the baron indices.
