What do you love the most about...
1. Your favorite (if you have more than one) Patek.
2. About Patek Philippe as a watch making company.
As a non-Patek owner...I'll start off.
First, my favorite (and eventual) Patek will be a simple hour minutes seconds 18k model... probably in the 34/35mm size. The specifics beyond that will not be important. At least to me at that moment of purchase. It will be the one that reaches out to me...let's go to lunch at Deux Magots.
Second, Patek Philippe has done what they have done for as long as they have done it with a singleness of purpose...to make great watches. The intensity of their passion more than survived the great quartz crisis...it rose above it on the honest merits of their workmanship.
With a Patek, you don't have to own the most expensive one to own the best. Each one is a Patek and that is all that need be said.
At least those are my feelings as I browse the market place and read about the history of the brand.
And it would be nice to see pictures when you have them.
