Who am I ?
I am the Audemars Piguet Millenary MC12 Tourbillon Chronograph, ref. 26069PT.OO.D028CR.01, launched in 2006 as a limited edition of 150 examples made in collaboration with Maserati for the launch of their MC12 supercar.
I'm not a car guy and didn't even know the MC12 existed, but I find this timepiece quite interesting in its own way nonetheless.
The platinum case measures 47 x 16.6 mm (49.3 mm lug-to-lug) and the watch is powered by manual calibre 2884, with an almost 10-day power reserve (with an indicator on the left of the dial).

Not for me, obviously, but I understand the appeal and admire AP’s work. You describe it very well.
I saw the car at a show in around 2003 (might have a photo somewhere).
It was in the same space as a Bugatti Veyron in front of a cabinet that held the first AP Royal Oak Concept watch. I think that this collaboration with AP is one of the more successful car/watch partnerships. Cheers, Baruch

What immediately strikes me is what I see as a number of very thoughtful design features that reflect certain dimensions of the supercar and of course the Maserati collaboration.
I don’t always get that impression with other collaborations I’ve seen. Additionally, the openwork component and choice of platinum make this a very special piece. How nice it would be for AP to do a Millenary re-issue.
Yes, the Millenary was a very rich and interesting collection,
with watches going from traditional and conservative (my taste) to futuristic and bold (less my taste, but great however). Best, Emmanuel

Yes, the backside is really appealing,
with its modern design and great display of the column wheel. I also like the tourbillon bridge on the watch face. But the watch is thick indeed and, I imagine, pretty heavy! Best, Emmanuel
