I am the Audemars Piguet Millenary MC12 Tourbillon Chronograph, ref. 26069PT.OO.D028CR.01, launched in 2006 as a limited edition of 150 examples made in collaboration with Maserati for the launch of their MC12 supercar.
I'm not a car guy and didn't even know the MC12 existed, but I find this timepiece quite interesting in its own way nonetheless.
The platinum case measures 47 x 16.6 mm (49.3 mm lug-to-lug) and the watch is powered by manual calibre 2884, with an almost 10-day power reserve (with an indicator on the left of the dial).
and I had to check what a Bugatti Veyron is (😊), but I agree with you, Baruch, that this is an impressive piece in its own right and style. Best, Emmanuel
What immediately strikes me is what I see as a number of very thoughtful design features that reflect certain dimensions of the supercar and of course the Maserati collaboration.

I don’t always get that impression with other collaborations I’ve seen. Additionally, the openwork component and choice of platinum make this a very special piece. How nice it would be for AP to do a Millenary re-issue.
On the one hand I like both the idea and the execution of the MC12 as the car. The watch, though, I do not find filly convincing. The back side is glorious IMHO but the dial free front is the opposite of functionality (and in those case legibility) one would associate with the car. And the watch is unnecessarily thick, which also doesn’t fit with a race-car inspired sports car 🤷🏻♂️
They all have their happy owners and I applaud them but I feel AP could have done this a tad differently 😊
with its modern design and great display of the column wheel. I also like the tourbillon bridge on the watch face. But the watch is thick indeed and, I imagine, pretty heavy! Best, Emmanuel
Very nice watch indeed. I loved the oval APs that were a recurring collection in the 2000s. The MC12 was a kind of rebranded Ferrari Enzo that was built to allow it to race in the GT championship (obligation to have road versions, the famous "Stradale" ;)
