XX 3820 Fake?
Well, I picked up this beauty off of ebay a month ago, payed $4950, and while it has a great feel of quality, the convex glass, etc, I'm just now starting to suspect it as a fake - here's why:
It came absolutely spotless with protective plastic on it though it was a used watch, could have been added in trade in?
When you set the time, the second hand keeps going
Bi-directional ring
Slight stutter in the second hand, though it keeps perfect time
No papers, but came with black leather tube zipper case thing
Came from a 100% reputation watch dealer
Haven't been able to find many details on this watch and would appreciate any help I could get - thanks!

By stutter in the second hand, I mean that it hiccups on some of its quarter second pulses, pausing on one, then skipping the next. Maybe once every 10 seconds. Not discernible unless you're looking closely at the second hand. Here are some pics...

Are the dials uni or bi directional? (Mine is bi) And should the second hand stop when I set the time? (Mine doesn't) I couldn't find info on what is supposed to be the case for this piece Thanks?

I had the Aeronaval and transatlantic and both were uni...Id get it checked out although the pics look good you never, fakes these days are very good.... If anyone else can help then great......
