Your thoughts on the Patek annual calendar, 5036 or 5146 ?

It some time since I contributed to this forum, I had to reregister, but I have a dilemma.

I have been a vintage Patek admirer for many years and have two 3445 to my name.. I have though for some time about the possibility of adding an annual calendar to my collection, but vintage is just too far out of the question.  I like the 5036 with its power reserve but have recently been admiring the 5146,

Is the difference the case size or have I missed something intrinsic in the design

Your thoughts would be appreciated,
