Brown Straps
I noticed that many of the FPJs in the photos feature brown straps. It's a handsome look. Is this a preference of the clientele in Japan, the boutique, a Journe trend, or none of the above? To me, a brown strap is a sophisticated alternative for many Journe styles, platinum or rose gold.

Check the month indicator; in February, there is an additional window that shows you which year it is, i.e. 1, 2, 3, or "B" for leap years (année bissextile in French). You can only see it during February. You can also see the pusher at its sliding lock a...

on an awesome event. Thanks for sharing. Great effort must have been made to show those Boutique pieces from yesteryears. Imagine that those were LONG sold out. I think the ti variants together with the BL series are the best of what Journe has to offer. ...
It's a pleasure Rob

Just doing my best to share what I can! Yes, i really agree on what you say about the Ti versions and the BL being the best of Journe. I love the BL the most i think, haha guess i'm biased cause my own Journe is a BL! Cheers Stephen
Thanks, Stephen.

Dear Stephen, thank you for taking & sharing your photographs. What a festive event! Now I feel as if I'd been there. I particularly enjoyed the shot of you and Ms. Yuki Kitano (excellent CS clocks on the column behind you). By the way, you have a splendi...

Timing the CR and the CS

Hi Stephen, First of all thank you for responding to the Nichtigkeiten that I have been posting here, as a novice or newcomer - but am trying to do my best not to tread on too many toes (I am a terrible dancer - tried it once - but never again). An exampl...
winding correction
By: amerix : June 1st, 2009-10:07
I meant, winding the CR can be "heroic". Compared with that, winding the CS is as smooth as butter - but not as buttery smooth as the Lange RL. BY the way, I took a block of butter from my Kuehlschrank (fridge) and it was as hard as s brick! However, I am...
