You're probably mad at yourself - I know I'd be. But, try to chalk it up to one of life's odd experiences. And, rest assured that your Journe will be carefully restored by FPJ. A few weeks (months?) from now this will all be a distant memory!
To me, the CS just sings. I read somewhere that it is FPJ's favorite model. Regarding 40mm and 38mm - I think it's simply a matter of personal style and taste. Both are correct. (I will confess a preference for the 40...)
Most trends, as they reach an extreme, engender a countertrend. The central question then becomes: how far will the pendulum swing? Many of us would agree that, in aggregate, the size of watches has reached such an extreme. I believe, however, that the pendulum won't swing too far. I agree with some
I didn't know that Journe's brown straps vary in coloration. Can this be specified, or is it the luck of the draw? The reason I ask is I have a 40mm RG CS, and I'd like to put a brown strap on it. Any advice? Which shade(s) of brown do you prefer? Many thanks!
I noticed that many of the FPJs in the photos feature brown straps. It's a handsome look. Is this a preference of the clientele in Japan, the boutique, a Journe trend, or none of the above? To me, a brown strap is a sophisticated alternative for many Journe styles, platinum or rose gold.
