CTS or Cut To Size straps are made to sell at a more economical price
As such, they are only customized to fit the watch case at the lugs. Personally, I don't mind them using the universal spring loaded clasp as I find transferring the OEM clasp to be a pain unless you want to keep using the Delugs strap somewhat permanently. As to the price, the F.P. Journe strap was $500 without buckle at the time I ordered the Delugs while this one is only $275 with clasp. I am going to guess the OEM strap is even higher now.
