I have a 7 inch /17 cm wrist..I have the possibility of purchasing a 42 mm platinum version. I am wondering how it wears on the wrist?. Usually I like dress watches to be no more that 40mm. Thanks CB

I feel like the 42mm is for people who feel the 40 is too small. I have a 7.25" wrist and 40mm FPJs feel right. I can wear a 42mm and would if that's the size a watch I loved came in, but since there's a 40mm option, I would recommend that to someone who ...

I would go for 40mm personally. It seems to wear bigger.

I’m trying to keep my emotions in check. I think 40 mm is the correct size but when a very nice 42 mm CO is possible it can be tough to maintain objectivity. I appreciate your help. CB

I think, most importantly- try both and see what you think works best for you! Personally I prefer 40mm. But my sweet spot for watches generally, is 38-40 mm.

If 40mm is your sweet spot, don’t go for the 42mm. You will regret it. 40mm is also my comfort spot for most watches. I think the Optimum wears bigger than most Journes. It definitely wears bigger than the 40mm Centigraphe (my favorite FPJ) since the beze...

That's what I thought from the pics. I would prefer a 42mm but not if it's just a thicker case. I would vote for the 40mm

Most important, is that it fits the wrist, I think..

A 44mm FPJ Linesport has no lugs, so it may wear similar to a 40mm watch with lugs. My 6"/154mm wrist is a bit smaller than yours, so on traditional watches with lugs, I always go with a smaller (38-40mm) case diameter if I have the option. That's why I'd...
