Hi friends. I was looking at a CS in PT but now found out about the Octa Lune and am interested in learning more. I did a search but didn't find much on the watch here. It seems most posts are about the older, pre-2015, variation. If anyone has the curren...  

More color, the asymmetry and the seconds disk also make it fun and interesting. I don't have mine with me right now unfortunately but maybe I will post some pictures at a later point.

Though i'm wondering why you prefer the newer version. I have always prefered the older textured and painted dial. Subjective, for sure, but just wondering why you prefer the other.

I’d actually give the slight edge to the older textured silver dials as well. As you’ve probably seen, older Journeys have skyrocketed in price over the past few months and because of that, at the moment I think getting the full boutique experience is wha... 

That's IMO anyway. It's harder to find, may be, but once you have it you won't have to keep looking. If you first get something you don't like as much, then hunt for the one you have always preferred, once you get the second one you'll also have to deal w... 

But I tried this. I own an Reserve de Marche so it’s similar but the most basic of the Octas. It has the Otca movement which is, by now an tried and tested movement with excellent performance and a long power reserve. It is designed in a way that differen...  

Great points and very helpful. I prefer the look of the manual movement, but I worth the CS dial might be a bit too simple for what I’m looking for right now. I still love it but i think I’d wear something like the asymmetric octa dial a bit more often. T... 

And secondly, when I feel like wearing An automatic watch or something more utilitarian I might grab a Rolex. For the past year it seems to be either FPJ or Rolex for longer durations, even when I have other brands. About color, I think the grey/ taupe is... 

as I like the dial layout better, however I was lucky to get my hands on the newer LN and love it. It has the quintessential unmistaken Journe off centered dial along with some heft. It has substantial weight and you can definitely feel it on your wrist. ...
