I have been looking at it for quite a while.
I absolutely love the simple and clear way in which the relevant PC information is displayed, along with the cleverly hidden small hand for leap years. I tried it on and it fits perfectly. But, I am still waiting to pull the trigger and am a bit hesitant due to some horror stories I heard of quality control issues with FPJ. I think maybe in a year I could be ready, since I really really like it. After patiently waiting since they first showed it in 2013, what's a few more months?
The 5940, on the other hand, and in my own humble opinion, is simply not for me. I do not like (nor does it look good on me) the shape, and I think the presentation of the PC info makes the dial really cluttered. That said, it is a really nice watch.

The 5940 is at the top of my list...
...although I prefer it in yellow gold. I think the case shape is different enough from the 3940 to justify purchasing, especially if it\'s a different metal. You can\'t go wrong, but the 5940 is damn near perfect. Good luck...post pix.

I got luck and my AD offered me a great deal on both. Already picked up the 5940 and the Journe will take about 5-6 months. I think that I will be very happy with both. Best
