Its fascintating for me to see how much one can read fomr images available - if one knows the facts, takes time to investigate and bothers to interpret.
I found your detailed view on the column wheel particularly fascinating. I remember faintly that when Blancpain introduced the monopusher version of their Piguet 1185 chronograph I seemed to have noticed that the column wheel of the monopusher had 2/3 the pillars than the standard base variant (4 vs 6), for exactly the reason that the column wheel had to execute one addtional task (reset) without acting on its normal tasks: on the third push (reset), only the hands should return, but the chronograph should not start again (as it would with the standard 1185).
I also noted that the monopusher variant required more force to actuate the pushers than the regular 1185.
