Yes, we all love the emperors new clothes!

Does it come with a magnifying glass or decoder key? (Toung in cheek - just being silly)

I think the dial numbers are smaller than the outer ring on the "right" side dial. - Any other real live observations, please weigh in.

To me - not the best design - but yet again, I am an old time purist. I'm also partial to 38mm cases. I guess, I have become irrelevant.

To this point - Journe needed to do something as I am going to assume Resonance sales must have declined as the target market has "secured" their pieces to permanent - in said collections.

Maybe the new crop of Journeaphiles will find this watch useful, interesting and attractive. I am too engrained in the old school to accept this change as an "equivalent" design. Had he moved the winding and setting crown - that, to me would have been enough for us. Had he not moved the crown and modified the two dial layout - that would have been enough for us. Had he not modified the two dial layout and just discontinued the watch all together, that would have been enough for us. Had he not discontinued the watch but created and entirely new dial design with new function, complication etc - that would have been enough......

Why not pull a Dufour and make a resonance with a single dial and call is the simplistonance - I would have bought that watch......

Long live the original remontoir and resonance. Two of the most iconic, ground breaking, forward thinking, motivating, inspiring and empowering timepieces the world has even known.

This is the end of the first Journe era - its been a decade of fantastic things - a fantastic journey which I am proud to say I was a part of.

In closing - I am proud that I was the first customer of the "home field" boutique - and that the first watch sold in that boutique was a Resonance. A moment of my life I will never forget. I thank you Mr. Journe and team for that honor and experience. I hope it means as much to you as it does to me - and the fact that it was a resonance.....I hope that success resonates upon you for many years to come.
