I am glad (and envious) that you were able to enjoy this delicacy. Agreed. It's SO delicious and SO expensive, so we indulge on special occaisions like birthdays, anniversaries, and "splurge" days. Enjoyed this in Aprl at the famous "Sakuraya" in Mishima,...  

That does look like a generous serving and yes prices have got a bit out of control, so perfect for special occasions or when you can't take it anymore. I need to check that place in Mishima, used to go there often when I used to ride motorcycles.
