The butter drastically changes the equation; and not just in taste. Never heard of such a thing. What's your take on flavor? Your honorary Italian status may be affected by this answer.

......I love olive oil. I truly love it. I could not describe this as olive oil. It is totally unlike anything I have ever tasted. The butter infusion is supposedly a secret method. If i was a betting man, I would guess that the "butter" is a pecan deriva...
Seems like the best of both worlds to me.
The butter clogs your arteries and the olive oil clears them out again. Regards Kev.
