What a terrific lineup. For sure the 2010 Pape Clement and 2005 Rauzan Segla are great wines that need more time. The 1985 Mouton is such a classic Mouton from the coffee nose era, but I don’t think I’ve ever had ‘98 Haut Bailly. After reading your write up I’ll try to find one. Merlot was so successful in ‘98 on the right and also in Pessac Leognan with the ‘98 Haut Brion. Thanks for sharing. What a weekend!

Yes,the '98 Chateau Haut Bailly
is certainly worth looking out for.....it's drinking beautifully now. As you rightly pointed out,1998 was a very good vintage on the Right bank as well as the Pessac-Leognan region. Indeed,it was an enjoyable weekend....thanks for looking.
