50 Shades of Grey 🙈

I just realized that I have three grey 3-hander dials from GP. All Laureatos.

And I have comes to see how well GP does with dial colors …. especially grey.

Generation 5 of the Laureato my 38 mm. This model is discontinued now. Gunmetal grey is how I would describe it.

Then I have my 42.6 mm Laureato Generation 4 called the Evo3. This one is quartz and rather rare. Ref 80188. Silca blue-grey dial color

And finally my Laureato 8010 generation 3 at 36 mm. Rose gold bezel and magnificent Metalem dial. Thin case at 7.9 mm. Anthracite grey is how I would describe it.

As you can see, I like wearing different size watches watches.

All three have grey dials. And while not fifty, I do appreciate the shades of grey.

A nice alternative to more severe black dials and yet retaining a level of sobriety.

The grey dial laureato is much more subtle quiet luxury IMHO. I like the size on your wrist as well. 🤝

But there's too much text and branding on the dial of the GP and the hobnail pattern could have been done more subtly. A great watch nonetheless. But neither the GP or the AE are part of the watches I care the most about. Steel bracelet watches aren't tha...
