I ve had this discussion a few times with different people,never quite confirmed that but that seems to be the danger with sapphire parts,especially to develop tiny hair cracks when under pressure(ie screwing a screw through it and tighten it).
But its true what you say,most glasses are sapphire so..well I am glad that its not the case with the 3GB as I love this watch,maybe its a bit true about the latest Richard Mille

Hi, There is indeed a risk when they make them, but once they are made, why should they be more fragile than a sapphire glass that they use on top of sport watches (all Rolex watches have a sapphire glass for instance)? Best Dje
