I also like how the polished surfaces of the bezel and pushers play against the brushed surface of the case. Ditto the bracelet brushed / polished interplay. A very nice GP chronograph! Thanks for sharing.
I don’t think there’s significant time/cost implications. Instead, brands often seem to keep all of the nicest features for LE pieces. I guess there’s an underlying strategy to this approach.
I think the brands have all kinds of agendas and strategies which sometimes backfire. Many brands have lost toicut with collector opinions as well. Disconnected by using ADs as the go-betweens. And ADs have theirs own agendas.
The Laureato-Olimpico was released in 1996 under the leadership of Gino Macaluso. Very few were made. Supposed to be a total 999 but some reports say less than 600 made in total across three dial colors. So an average of 200 for each dial color. Its a goo...
