Another of the 2016 Novelties I got to see in the metal last week was the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Skeleton.
A very intriguing watch. A lot to see and take in!
I get “lord of the Rings” Elf-wibe of the bridge design…
Especially on the back and the rotor!
But will come back to this in my report.

A skeleton watch is a very difficult exercise IMHO as you can quickly become excessive and offer a Rococo style.
At the opposite, this GP offers a very modern skeletonised dial which is very appreciable... a little bit like the Piaget Altiplano skeleton (a very desirable watch indeed). Credit: Piaget website Best wishes Alkiro ...
I agree, often not a fan of skeletonized watches....

Yes and now I regret. The equilibrium of all elements into the dial is just perfect and the reflections of the dark grey dial are just wonderful.

and looking forward to some wristshots. I think this is a marvel, even most likely beyond reach, but dreams are always good.
