There are GP gems available. Look at the laureato 8010 and the laureato olimpico 8017 on chrono24 and such. Still can find a few. 🤝

this Havana dial. There are surely many wonderful options if you look past those "hyped" pieces.

Many collectors don’t want to think too much and want to be “safe” with the herd. Also, the rare birds like this Havana dial are not easy to find. So few were made. The grey market, authorized dealers and even auction houses need volume of pieces to hype ... 

and didn't venture out of Rolexes. Not many will purchase one with knowledge that it will take a big hit when he/she wants to exit. But the fact is no one can predict the future, many years ago FPJ, RM are heavily discounted. So buy what you like, persona... 

and I think it is a valid point to consider. But it is just one point of consideration and just one of many other considerations. For some, it is the ONLY consideration. Watches do not make good investments but sure, by luck, one can certainly make some m...
