My pleasure to share my thoughts about straps and bracelets Marc.
I can well understand what you say about straps drawbacks.
Silicon/rubber are a nice option and they come in lots of great colors as well.
They can be also a problem in hot humid weather though I feel.
Regrettably I personally can’t bear the feeling of rubber on my skin except for a short period of use. So I don’t use them except in certain diving watches when I can’t find a replacement.
Bracelet and straps changes require a few special tools and a bit of practice of course. Some watches are easiest than others depending on their design.

He is actually my neighbor’s cat. During COVID lockdown, neighbor was stuck in a different country and he started to come into our house. 2 years later … he’s here 24/7 and neighbor has given up carrying him home. 😀

The bracelet adds a lot heft and changes the overall look and feel of the watch. If to had to choose, I’d say strap suits it better. But a bracelet is good to have around too.

Hello Marc! Salmon dials in contrast with a "white metal" case and Breguet numerals is a killer combination. I die for this combo! They are irresistible.

My big pleasure Marc. Leather straps (for the watch of course! Lol!) ... Well this is a very personal choice I guess. I like to wear many of my watches with leather straps and some others I prefer with the original metal bracelets.
In this particular beautiful watch of yours I would opt for trying a set of leather straps as I feel they would give more presence on the wrist to this superb salmon/Breguet numerals dial. Probably a set of light brown leather would look right. Of course ...

Yes agree, straps are fun but with their downside in tropical Singapore. It also rains quite unexpectedly and I have a clamshell travel case in the car. We also eat a lot of messy noodle dishes here, so there tend to be lots of “splash” when hungry. I’ve ...
