I remember once, I was close to a white, with golden indices & hands
( not so sure anymore), but hesitated to pull the trigger..
When Imlooked back, 2 days later, it was gone.. Close miss, Grrr..
I'll trly to keep my eyes open, butnin my country , there are
practically zero offerings.
So to check & maybe look at one modern, I will need to fly to Basel,
Geneva or Paris, I guess..

To have the Duo is certainly a very exciting experience.
Love both of them. The White is a very rare bird, and the cherry on the cake is the mention " Chronometer " on the dial. Superb. Thanks for this very interesting post, my friend. Nicolas

yes, the white version has something and the Chronometer HF turns a Tic .. Toc .. Tic .. Toc .. into a TicTicTicTicTicTicTicTic watch
The Gyrodate Chronometer HFs
always contain Calibre 42.1, the second generation Gyromatic Chronometer HF movement.

yes, I was suspecting caliber 42. I think both Gyrodates have cal 42, one HF (42.1) and one not HF (probably 42.2) CC

but indeed, the white fits great into this case, esp. the white is like an off-white. I think the only feasible solution is to own both

.. even takes the chance for an identical twin, and rarely even a triple.. Thus, i luckily have been offered the chance to persuade the shopkeeper, to maybe part from one of the Dupes !.. I always keep those pieces, twins of my brother-in arms in good sha...
